F5 launches PoP in South Korea to help enterprises secure and scale applications across cloud and edge environments

A new point of presence (PoP) site expands the global reach of F5 Distributed Cloud Services, a purpose-built cloud-native solution that connects and secures distributed applications, ensuring high performance and carrier-grade reliability

SEOUL – F5 (NASDAQ: FFIV) announced a new point of presence (PoP) in South Korea, expanding its global network to help enterprises in the region secure and deliver applications across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments.

This expansion directly addresses South Korea’s rapidly growing cybersecurity challenges. According to the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), the number of reported corporate cybersecurity incidents in South Korea reached 2,383 in 2025, up 26.3% from the previous year. DDoS attacks saw the sharpest increase, more than doubling year-on-year to 588 cases. Addressing these challenges, the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform aims to help businesses strengthen their security posture and ensure consistent protection across increasingly distributed applications.
